Octavo, [four volumes], [iv], 612pp; 651pp; [ii], 608pp; 671pp. Three quarter blue goatskin, titles in gilt, each volume dated, decorative gilt compartments. Five raised bands on spines, gilt top edge, marbled endpapers. This set was bound in Bath, England. Contents of the text blocks are near fine, with the occasional bit of toning, Housed in custom blue cloth slipcase, silk ribbon attached. Each volume complete with frontispiece, fold-out maps, battle plans, illustrated plates and facsimiles. Errata slip present in Volume I-III, not in IV, as expected.
