Housed in the publisher’s black cloth clamshell, lined with silk, title in gilt on spine, bumped lower corners, light sunning to top quarter. From a limited edition of 250 copies, this being number 11. Signed by the authors, Wendell D. Garrett and William L. Beiswanger.
Includes 14 hand-printed architectural drawings of Thomas Jefferson’s home, Monticello. The plates were engraved by Lothar Osterburg, hand-inked and hand-pulled by Jan Mauler. A beautiful production. Includes a copy of the publisher’s prospectus.
