Inscribed photograph of President Ronald Reagan and Myra L. Tankersley, longtime friend of the Reagan’s from California and Confidential Assistant to Attorney General William French Smith.
Color photograph, white matte border, measures 11″ x 14″. On verso is written “Signed September 23, 1982” in black pen. This photograph is inscribed on the white matte: “Dear Myra – We’re glad we’re all still in the same city – Warmest Regard / Ronald Reagan.”
Provenance: The estate of Myra L. Tankersley, Executive Assistant William French Smith at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and later Confidential Assistant when Smith was appointed Attorney General by President Ronald Reagan. Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher was the personal law firm of President Reagan before and during his administration, where Tankersley became a lifelong friend of President and Mrs. Ronald Reagan. She returned to California with Attorney General Smith in 1985.
