The Rhodesian Special Air Service was formed in 1959 and served until the transition to Black majority rule in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in 1979. This work by Barbara Cole highlights their efforts to slow the progress of the Zimbabwe African National Liberation Army (ZANLA) during the Rhodesian Bush War (also called the Zimbabwe War of Independence).
