Linus Pauling (1901-1994) is one of the most famous scientists of all time, known for his work on molecular biology and quantum chemistry. He is one of four people ever to earn two Nobel Prizes; a Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1954, and a Nobel Peace Prize in 1962.
