Marbled endpapers with decorative gilt turn-ins and board edges. Bound by Bayntun of Bath, England. Solid binding, clean text with no marks or notations. Joints rubbed and beginning to split at ends. Max Beerbohm was an English essayist and caricaturist. Zuleika Dobson was the only novel he ever published. The Modern Library Board selected it as one of the 100 best English-language novels of the 20th century.
